Terms of Service
- General
FULL PAYMENT is required before delivery. Photos must be provided prior to collection to ensure the container is in a suitable location for a semi-truck and trailer to collect and/or deliver from right hand side of the truck only (drivers side). 30 minutes is allowed on site or at wharf for loading and unloading. Additional driver waiting time is charged for any delay per block of 30 minutes at the hourly rate If unsuccessful on the day, additional fees are applied. In the case of wrong container door position $85 will be charged for repositioning of the container. You will need to work out which way the container needs to be loaded to ensure it is facing correct way
- Transport Guide
Please read the below information before we organise your container transport. There are certain access requirements for your container to be delivered successfully. Send through photos if unsure and we can check on access before delivery arrangements made.
- Access Requirements
Dry suitable grounds are required at both sites. Access to sites must be of good condition for a standard road going truck and cleared for heavy vehicles to operate freely. This would be solid ground condition (not too sandy or clay) that would/could cause the truck to get bogged. No excessively overgrown with trees and shrubs (customers say that “it is ok, the container will push the branches out of the way”, with no regard for the truck panels & paint, mirrors, aerials etc. that suffers damage on the way). A minimum of 1 metre of clearance from power lines must be maintained at all times, when driving or loading/unloading. Brick, paved or, concreted driveways, kerbings or lawned areas, need to be realistic about marks/damage done whilst accessing, loading, unloading or egressing site. Council regulations such as having the container placed away from public utilities, storm drains & space from the roadside must be met.
- Liabilities
Alphavape is not liable for damage caused to goods or properties with inadequate clearance. By engaging Alphavape, you have accepted the Terms of Engagement.
